The electrical tester is safely double insulated and IEC rated CAT III 1000V CAT IV 600V, meeting CE requirements. It provides a high voltage alert to warn you of voltage above 90V, with the screen turning red and the safety symbol on the screen shining. The device features a compact design, with a bright LED flashlight for work in dim areas and a low-power-indicator when the battery voltage is below 2.5V. For added convenience, it has an automatic power-off feature after 3 minutes without operation or signal detection, and a pocket-sized design with a pen hook for easy carrying in your shirt pocket.

The voltage detector offers a dual range, detecting both standard and low voltage (12-1000V AC / 48-1000V AC) for more sensitive and flexible measurements. Users can press the S button to adjust the sensitivity and adapt the low range for use with doorbells, thermostats, irrigation wiring, and other applications. The NCV sensor automatically recognizes the voltage and displays it on the bar graph.

In terms of safety, the device will send out multiple alarms through sound and light. When voltage is detected, the tip will glow red and emit a beep. As the sensed voltage increases or the user gets closer to the voltage source, the beeping frequency will also increase. Simultaneously, the screen will display red or green, with red indicating the presence of high voltage and a live wire, and green signifying low voltage and a null wire.

The non-contact functionality of the voltage detector allows for easy and convenient use. Simply place the tip near a terminal strip, outlet, or supply cord, and when the tip glows red and the pen beeps, you'll know there's voltage present. The live wire detector can automatically detect the live or neutral wire, making it an ideal tool for breakpoint testing.
